Wet ‘n Wild Splash Town Open for the Season

Wet 'n Wild Splash Town Open for the Season

The weather’s getting warm, school is nearly over for the year, and we’re starting to yearn for fun summer activities. Luckily, Wet ’n Wild SplashTown water park opens for the season this weekend, so if you need us, we’ll be in the wave pool!

For the next few weeks, the park is open on weekends only, from 10:00-6:00, but will be open daily starting the last weekend of May. SplashTown is the largest water park in the Houston area, with over 40 acres of attractions ranging from super-tame slides for little ones to death-defying thrill rides for adrenaline junkies. There’s a splash pad play area for kids, a giant wave pool, and a lazy river to get you around the park if you don’t feel like walking. The park’s best known attraction is the Texas Freefall, a seven-story slide that’s almost completely vertical. Of course, food and beverages are for sale, and if you choose, you can even enjoy a margarita by the pool and pretend you’re on vacation.

Adult admission is $40.99 at the gate on weekdays and $44.99 on weekends and holidays. Tickets are cheaper if you purchase them online and bring them with you. Advance purchase tickets will run you $34.99 on weekdays and $37.99 on weekends. If you plan to come more than once, a season pass is the way to go, since those are only $59.99. To buy tickets online, visit https://www.wetnwildsplashtown.com. SplashTown is located in Spring, a few miles north of the city along the I-45 feeder road at Louetta Road. We’ll see you at the park!
