Main Street America Lights of Hope

If you missed the celebrated Heights Holiday Home Tour, don’t despair! It’s not too late to participate in the Christmas on Main Street Lights of Hope event in Spring, held at Main Street America. The tour includes stops at twelve ritzy custom homes in various architectural styles decked out in full holiday regalia, as well as live music, cooking and decorating demonstrations, light shows, food and beverage tastings, and even visits from Santa! Lights of Hope will take place Saturday evening.

Christmas on Main Street Lights of Hope offers nine local charities the chance to decorate a house with a thematic outdoor light display, and visitors vote for their favorite. The winning charity will receive $10,000 at the end of the event.

In addition to meeting Santa and admiring beautiful homes, activities include story time with Mrs. Claus, pictures with beloved holiday characters like Rudolph, the Gingerbread Man, and Frosty, rides aboard the Main Street Express train, live entertainment, man-made snow, and plenty of smores and hot chocolate. The entire property will be decorated with over 20,000 twinkling Christmas lights.

Admission is $25 per adult, $5 for children under 15. Main Street America is found at 18750 Interstate 45 in Spring. Purchase tickets in person at the Main Street America guest center. Those with a Main Street America membership get discounted entry to the Holiday Showcase.
