Houston Restaurant Weeks 2016 List Announced

Houston Restaurant Weeks 2016 List Announced

The list of participating restaurants for 2016 Houston Restaurant Weeks was released last week, and this year’s selections are even better and more varied than before! Houston Restaurant Weeks is an annual charity event where some of the city’s best restaurants create special multi-course prixe fixe meals, allowing diners to try out top-notch establishments without breaking the bank, and a portion of each meal price goes to benefit the Houston Food Bank. Restaurant Weeks lasts from August 1- September 5, so there’s plenty of time to try all of those trendy places you’ve been dying to go to. Over one hundred local restaurants are participating, including local Heights favorites like Shade, Glass Wall, Rainbow Lodge, and Crisp, to name just a few.

With such a long list of restaurants from every conceivable category, there’s sure to be something to fit any tastes. The full list of participating restaurants is available at http://www.houstonrestaurantweeks.com and includes a breakdown of which meals are offered at each restaurant. Choose from dinners for $35, dinners for $45, brunch for $25, and lunch for $20. Dinners are usually three or four courses and most lunches are two courses. Drinks, taxes, and gratuity are not included, so remember to take care of your server. Reservations are highly recommended no matter when you go, although some places will accept walk-in tables. If you’re living or working further afield, there are participating restaurants in the Woodlands, Kingwood, Spring, Sugar Land, and several other suburbs. Now, if you’ll excuse us, we’ll be perusing the list of participating restaurants, trying to squeeze as many delicious dinners for a good cause as we can possibly fit into our busy schedules. Bon appetit!
