First Saturday Arts Market

Come out and celebrate the First Saturday Arts Festival this weekend on 19th Street! The monthly event features local artists working in a wide variety of media, including painting, photography, sculpture, jewelry making, and artisan furniture production. Food trucks will be on site, and the weather forecast is showing clear skies and cool temperatures, so it’s an ideal time to grab a cup of coffee from Boomtown and enjoy being outdoors, strolling through the vendor booths. This month’s artists include painters Kimberly Schwarzkopf, Jimmy McDonald, and Andy Gonzalez, collage artist Lisa Morales, jewelry designers KC Original Designs and JH Jewelry Studio, and Studio Greenbean. There will also be handmade pottery, artisan soaps, and gourmet food items and preserves from The Great San Saba River Pecan Company. These are just a few of the talented vendors who will be taking part this month, so be sure to come take a look! The market will be taking place from 11:00 to 6:00 at 548 W. 19th Street.
