The Sawyer Yards Biannual Art Stroll will take place this Saturday from 4:00-9:00, and we wouldn’t miss it! Sawyer Yards is actually one of the largest working artist communities in the country. Hundreds of local artists have studio space at Sawyer Yards, and you can practically smell the creativity in the air.
Over 300 artists working in a wide array of mediums will be presenting their work for the art stroll. Meet the artists, add to your existing collection, or find a new favorite local artist to start a collection. From photography to jewelry to sculpture and painting, there’s something in every style and every technique you could hope to find.
In addition to supporting today’s local art scene, the Art Stroll will help future artists develop their talents and bring about a more artistic Houston tomorrow. A portion of the proceeds from the evening’s sales will go to the Glassell School of Art Scholarship Fund.
The Art Stroll will be spread across the entirety of Sawyer Yards, taking place in Winter Street Studios, Spring Street Studios, Silver Street Studios, Summer Street Studios, and the Silos at Sawyer Yards. Click the link for more information.
