Houston Restaurants Have Gone to the Dogs

A year after a new city ordinance, 33 Houston area restaurants are now allowing man’s best friend to accompany us for dinner, as long as it’s outside.

For a small, one-time permitting fee of $110, eating establishments can now attract not only dog lovers, but their dogs.

Paws on Patios, a Houston grassroots organization, successfully lobbied the city to allow permitting by restaurants.

Some of the area eateries that allow customers and their canines are Gratifi Kitchen and Bar (which was once Ziggy’s Bar & Grill), Hugo’s, Barnaby’s, and Supper ‘n Punch.

What a great way to dine!
