The best pizza restaurant in Dallas will soon open a Houston outpost right here in the Heights! Cane Rosso is a popular Neopolitan-style pizza place with four existing locations. Founder Jay Jerrier places a high priority on authenticity, and Cane Rosso has earned acclaim for their high quality and use of locally-sourced ingredients. Food Network personality Guy Fieri visited Cane Rosso and proclaimed it one of the best pizza joints in America.
Cane Rosso will open at 1835 N. Shepherd Drive, near other upcoming ventures Hunky Dory, Bernadine’s, Ka Sushi and opening-any-day-now Hugs & Donuts. Construction will begin in July or August and a December opening is planned, provided there are minimal delays due to permitting issues.
