Calling Art Aficionados! Virtual Art Show on Thursday, 8/6

Circa Real Estate has had a proud, long-standing tradition of featuring local artists in its office space on 19th Street, and they’ve been thinking of ways to continue to safely promote local talent during the pandemic. The solution? Rather than having you come to the office, Circa is bringing the art to you this week with a free live virtual event featuring Houston artist Stephanie Gonzalez. Bring your wine and your fuzzy slippers – it’s going to be a great time!

Stephanie’s name sound familiar? It should. She’s been wowing Houston with her collections and commissions for quite a while now. She received her BFA from the Art Institute of Houston, attended drawing classes at Glassell Studio School, and achieved her MFA at Houston Baptist University. She’s also created art for big names like Make a Wish, Skyline Art Services, Starwood Hotels in Saigon, Pearl Bar, and more. Quite a lot of accomplishments, don’t you think? Check out her website to see some of her previous works – you won’t be disappointed! Her abstract visions are absolutely breathtaking.

The art scene has been hurting since the COVID-19 pandemic began, with little opportunity for artists to show off their talents and even fewer chances for the public to safely view art. Although we’re all looking forward to the day we can rub elbows and chat about paintings over a glass of red wine, it’s just not possible right now. Since Circa Real Estate’s storefront in the historic Harold’s building has premium studio lighting and dedicated wall space, it would be a crime to not utilize the location because of the coronavirus. Circa Real Estate’s rockstar marketing team also loves to get creative with events and provides local featured artists with free promotion; since everything else has gone digital, why not attend a virtual art show?

We’re pumped to support Stephanie Gonzalez’s work and we know you’re going to love this walkthrough hosted by Stephanie herself!

Catch the virtual live Zoom event this Thursday, August 6th, from 5 PM – 6 PM CDT. To register for the event, click here. Can’t wait to see you there!
