Brunch lover, rejoice! A new outpost of The Toasted Yolk is opening at 4601 Washington Ave on December 9. The Washington location will be the 11th Houston-area Toasted Yolk.
If you haven’t tried it yet, what do you have against eggs benedict and mimosas? The Toasted Yolk is popular for made-from-scratch, chef-inspired versions of breakfast and lunch classics prepared the way they were meant to be enjoyed. All sauces, dressings, and soups are scratch-made daily, and you won’t find anything here that came out of a box. Even the juices are freshly squeezed!
The Toasted Yolk is open from 7 AM to 3 PM daily. If breakfast food isn’t your jam (pun intended) there are non-brunchy items like salads, burgers, and sandwiches available as an alternative to the plethora of pancakes and wealth of waffles. Enjoy yours with a fancy coffee or something stronger, and don’t forget to save room for their famous donuts, served warm and ooey-gooey with icing.
